Lagg is the Isle of Arran’s newest distillery. They, like many others are planning on being somewhat experimental. In this case it is with peat, as everything made at the distillery will peated. They plan on using peat from not just Scotland but around the world to understand the terroir of peat and how it affects flavour. Unlike most distilleries, Lagg are not producing gin before any spirit is released, instead they will produce cider and apple brandy from apples grown on the estate.
